RACHEL & SAM

At the heart of Trevear Farm is husband-and-wife team Rachel and Sam, who live locally in the picturesque town of Wadebridge. With an eye for detail and a genuine passion for hospitality, they ensure every element of the farm and its collection of luxurious retreats runs seamlessly.

Sam personally welcomes guests to experience the farm through private tours, where you can meet the animals and enjoy the tranquillity of Cornish country life.

Together with their dedicated team, Rachel and Sam curate thoughtful, bespoke experiences that elevate each stay — from exhilarating watersports and scenic horse riding to private dining experiences and unforgettable culinary moments as Padstow is only minutes away.

The farm’s elegant retreats have been beautifully designed and developed by Rachel’s parents, whose West Country roots and refined aesthetic shine through in every detail. Blending rustic charm with contemporary luxury, each space embodies the spirit of Cornish living at its most indulgent.

The Trevear Story

Trevear Farm has been in existence since 1669, originally known as Treveor Farm. In 2011, Rachel’s father purchased the dilapidated property and meticulously restored it, using local stone and honouring the traditional farm aesthetic, so that the buildings appear timeless, as if they have always graced the landscape. He and Rachel’s mother laid the foundations of the farm as it is today. In 2018, following her father’s passing, Rachel took over the reins. Together with her husband Sam, she has elevated Trevear Farm into a destination of refined luxury, building upon her parents’ vision. Today, it stands as a harmonious blend of historic charm, family legacy, and contemporary elegance, offering an exceptional experience for all who visit.
