Trevear Farm
Jethro x Trevear
Jethro Jackson is a landscape artist based in North Cornwall, working from his studio at Projects Twenty Two in Rock. Renowned for his expressive and evocative depictions of Cornwall’s iconic coastline, Jethro’s early works captured the natural beauty and allure that resonate with countless visitors to the region. His distinctive approach to painting was highlighted through a special commission by Robert, the founder of Trevear Farm, who envisioned each of the Farm’s properties to feature a connection to the coast and a sea view. Jethro responded with a series of seascapes that infused the essence of the local coastline to the farm, providing paintings that would encapsulate cherished memories of a holiday at Trevear Farm.
In recent years, Jethro’s artistic direction has evolved, embracing more abstract representations that delve into the rich history and spirit of Cornwall. His current works are explorations into the county’s mining heritage, agricultural roots, and fishing communities, as well as the resilience and character of its people. These abstract landscapes seek to convey complex emotions and thoughts, creating a profound connection with Cornwall’s essence and legacy.
