Taking place between the 22nd and 23rd June 2019, Wadebridge is hosting the most un-paw-lievable event of the year: the Big Doggy Day Out Summer Festival. A day full of tongue-panting, ear-flapping, tail-wagging fun, the Big Doggy Day Out aims to give our cherished friends two whole days of undivided attention and fur-raising adventure.

A family-friendly event where under-16s go free, the Big Doggy Day Out will take place over the weekend in the Royal Cornwall Showground and include non-stop activities for you and, most importantly, your canine companion. Take your pick of things to do and browse the huge number of stalls and stands, including over 30 exhibitors showcasing dog-friendly products and services.

Whether you have a giddy new addition or a much-loved senior citizen in your family, stop by the seminar area which is hosting workshops, including talks from Paws & Praise and Andrew Hale. Learn how to groom your dog properly with demos from expert groomer Sam from Pampered Pooches and learn the best canine massage tips for a totally chilled out pup.

For something a little more energetic, there are all sorts of interactive games for you try out with your dog, including have-a-go agility, flyball and hoopers sessions, as well as scent games and elite competition in the form of the Canine Olympics!

To make sure you can always look after your best friend even when accidents happen, you can also attend doggy first aid workshops, where you will receive 30-minute taster sessions. These will share all the basics of canine first aid and what to do in case of emergencies.

When you’re all suitably worn out, the festival provides ample opportunity for refreshment with a bar and street food area; pick up some tasty treats and listen to the live music play. In beautiful surroundings with your loyal chum by your side, you are all guaranteed to spend a weekend to cherish forever.
